Each One Has a Story
Go For Broke Monument
Only a 1-minute walk from the Japanese American Museum, the Go for Broke Monument is a tribute to the Nisei soldiers who fought overseas in World War II and their families who endured tremendous hardship during wartime. The monument is engraved with the names of over 16,000 Japanese American soldiers who served in the military during WWII. If you are looking for a specific name, you can look it up in their Monument Name Locator.
