Details Matter at the

Million Dollar Theater

The Million Dollar Theater opened in 1918 and, with more than 2,300 seats, was one of the largest movie spaces in the country. The ceiling has a coffered dome with numerous statues and niches. It is spectacularly decorated both inside and out. You and your family will have a great time pointing at the little details like the eight muses of the arts, characters from different stories, decorative lighting, ceilings, columns, and more. To see the inside, you must attend a performance or get an official tour from an entity like the LA Conservatory for $15.
