Thien Hau Temple
The Thien Hau Temple is a Taoist temple and a popular site for worship. The Temple is dedicated to Mazu, the Taoist goddess of the sea and patron saint to sailors, fishermen, and those cultures associated with the sea. Other gods are also worshiped at the temple. The original temple was formerly a Christian church. Many people visit the temple before and after the Lunar New Year to receive a blessing for the year.
